What is the need of the market that prompted you to include the specific products in your list?

The financial crisis awakened a desire to turn to and promote Greek products.
For us, it seemed inconceivable to live in a country with a temperate climate, fertile soil and sunshine for most days of the year, and yet to import products that we have in abundance in Greece.
We therefore included a Greek, pure, traditional product, based on the favourite recipe that our grandmother Marika passed on us. Hence the Greek pun Gia…giamas (giagia – grandmother/giamas-cheers), dedicated to our Grandmother Marika who was also our inspiration and to all Greek grandmothers, while alluding to the Greek toast and favourite expression “gia mas”, meaning “to our good health”.

What kind of products and flavours do you promote? Do you move according to feedback from your customers?

Our products are hand-made traditional juices or soft drinks, prepared by our associate customers using the dosage guidance on the traditional jar-glass we provide them, where the products are also served.
The flavours vary depending on the season and the fruit harvest.
Our flavours are lemon, peach, mandarin and combinations of pomegranate with green apple.
The flavours we offer for winter and summer are lemon and peach and every winter or summer we also include a third flavour, which is mandarin in winter and pomegranate – apple in summer.
Every year a market survey is carried out across Greece to track the opinion of
consumers and after collecting the results we select the
third flavour.
For Winter 2017-2018 consumers, for the second year round, voted for Clementine mandarin, which proves to be a favourite!

Are these seasonal products? If so, why?

The flavours we select and promote are Greek fruit flavours, where the value for money is ideal.

The two main fruits we have selected for winter and summer are lemon and peach, which are found in abundance in the Greek countryside most of the year. Our new trend led us to green apple and pomegranate for summer 2017, which is replaced by mandarin in winter.
